FLOCCULANT COAGULANT PRECIPITANT

For primary & secondary treatment in waste water disposal facilities that want the most, ecologically acceptable effluent-potable water.

GENERAL DIRECTION
Since each application is different, the instructions in this label are general and to be used as a guide only. The carefully designed nature of this material makes it suitable for use under a wide variety of conditions. However before using with other chemicals it should be tested for compatibility. Each plant operator through jar testing should determine the proper dilutions and quantities for use within his own plant. This product gives best results when applied as a dilute solution. Therefore, it is recommended that a minimum 1:54 dilution be used. For Example: One gallon of this product should be blended with at least 54 gallons of water in a 55 gallon drum or holding tank prior to use. Always add the dilute solution of this product in such manner as to provide maximum distribution of the product, e.g. spray over a wide area or inject into the line at different points, or drip in slowly into the system. Such dispersed addition speeds the action of the treatment.

QUANTITY OF WATER TO BE TREATED
Gallons-Suggested Dosage Range of 1:54 Dilution of Concentrate
500                    1 qt -2 gals                    ½oz. – 5oz.
1000                  2 qt- 4 gals                     1oz. – 10oz
10,000               4 gals- 41gals                 10oz. – 3qts
100,000            41 gals- 110gals              3qts – 2gals
1,000,000         110 gals- 275gals            2 gals – 5gals

WATER CLARIFICATION SYSTEMS
Add diluted solution after the primary coagulants preferably in the flocclulator agitation section to assure maximum solids contact.

SLURRY SETTLING SYSTEMS
Feed the diluted solution into the slurry stream entering the thickener in a manner that will provide maximum distribution such as through a header extending across the width of the inlet trough with 3/16 orifices at 4²- 6² intervals. Avoid severe agitation after the solution has been added.

FILTRATION BEDS
Spray the diluted solution over the filtration bed, getting maximum coverage. If dripped into the waste stream add the diluted solution sparingly at several stages.

FOR SETTLING SOLIDS IN DIGESTED
To aid in the settling of digested sludge, add diluted solution to the sludge as it is added to the digester.

PRIMARY SETTLING OF RAW SEWAGE
Add the diluted solution after grit removal and at the point of maximum turbulence.

PONDS, LAGOONS, LAKES
To materially reduce muddiness in water, proportionately add the diluted solution over the entire area. A very simple procedure is to pour it slowly in back of a small outboard powered boat to distribute and mix the material. Rapidly Settles Suspended Solids. Effective over a pH range from 4 to 9 permits lower dosage level of primary coagulant. Increases Capacity of existing equipment. Yields longer filter runs. Produces a Fluffy Non-Compacted floc. Lowers B.O.D. (Biological Oxygen Demand) completely biodegradable. Harmless to fish or plant life non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-polluting. Incineration leaves no ash build-up. Contains no Phosphate, Cadmium, Mercury or Lead. Odorless, works where Alum won’t. Won’t interfere with desirable bacteriological decomposition. OK to use even where potable water is desired.
