Soil Sweet

Soil Sweet sweetens and neutralizes the soil. It creates a better environment for plant growth in the same manner as calcium carbonate (lime) or calcium sulfate (gypsum). Soil Sweet helps release “tied up” plant nutrients for vegetables, flowers, trees, turf grass, and shrubs. It may be used in combination with fertilizers, soil conditioners, and herbicides.

This product can be used on lawns, gardens, parks, golf courses, nurseries, athletic fields, farms, and fields.

Applications: Stir and shake well before using. 1 gallon covers 10,000 square feet. Achieving the full effect of this product depends on adequate watering or rainfall.

Apply Soil Sweet to turf or gardens during the spring, summer, or fall; it should be applied in the morning or early evening. Since it reacts with the soil within weeks, there is no need to treat the area 4 to 6 months in advance. Treat gardens after tilling and before planting.

Fields, Golf Courses, Parks, etc.: Mix 4 1/2 gallons of concentrate with 30 to 50 gallons of water for each acre. It may be mixed and applied with liquid fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides in large sprayers; check compatibility first.

Lawns and Gardens: Apply at a rate of 1 gallon per 10,000 square feet. Use a regular “lawn-type” hose sprayer. Fill the quart jar to the 15 or 20-gallon level and apply contents to 2500 square feet. If a soil test shows a larger amount is needed, apply two applications, one in the spring and one in the fall.

For small area applications, such as greenhouse bench solids, flowers, tree receptacles, etc., dilute 1 oz. Of concentrate with 1 gallon of water for 100 square feet.

Caution: Do not take internally. Keep from freezing. If this product is stored in cold or freezing weather it may separate or thicken; this will not harm the performance. If frozen or cold, warm the product to room temperature and stir thoroughly before using. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
